This course is developed for those who are interested in becoming a recognized Halal Lead Auditor. As a result you will be able to conduct compliance and surveillance audits in accordance with the Malaysia’s Halal standard. This module will cover several topics including fundamental principles of Shariah and its requirement, Malaysia’s Halal Standards, Halal Audit Process and procedures, preparation of halal audit checklist, value based management, and technical components related to halal production, etc.

Major Requirements:

The potential participants must be:
  • A Practicing Muslim;
  • At least more than 5 years industrial experience;
  • At least more than 2 years in managing halal.

Program objectives

  • To introduce the current Malaysia Standard for halal products and services
  • To expose to preparation of checklist based on the halal requirements
  • To build understanding on halal ingredients and material
  • To establish the auditing method for halal audit

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
  • To identify relevant halal audit programme;
  • To implement halal audit programme and to write halal audit report;
  • To maintain halal monitoring and verification.
